I'd like to see this option added to allow spirals (and helices if possible) of a constantly changing pitch.
Also, please make the current spirals terminate at their centre point.

The data fields evaluate functions, it should already be doable. Through parametric .spl import too, I'd guess.

Hi zumer.
The more I use ViaCAD the more I find it's hidden powers, so I bet it can be done, but unfortunately my maths skills aren't up to much and I thought that a slide-bar plus a data-entry field would be the way to go to alter the rate of change of the pitch.

Hi Bill.
I was hoping the feature could be added to VC and Shark to produce these curves, without us having to resort to doing the maths, or importing from other programs.

Here is an excel spreadsheet someone shared with me to create log spirals. You have to play around with importing into Shark/via cad. I can't remember the exact steps but it was very successful.

You enter the angle and it changes the spiral.
