How do i find gabs and overlapping lines? When i do select chain it selects all. And when i do extrude it tells me i have gabs or overlapping lines. But how cant i find them. Thanks

For overlapping lines, you would have to select all lines and check the listing in your concept explorer. I believe you can scroll/select the line in the explorer and the line will turn red by itself so you can see which one it is.

For gaps, there are two approaches. You can just project all lines to a working plane. Most likely you drew stuff without work plane enabled in snaps. The alternative is to inspect the end points or redraw it with work plane enabled.

or try the connect curve tool to repair open lines

I want to buy your ViaCad tips book (in hard copy). Do you work or do you expect to work for a new edition included the Version 9?? In this case I will wait for this..in other case I will order the book via Amazon!

because i have hundreds of control point splines it will bi funny to find out. But i'll try

i've tried this but it told me that i have to ungroup my object although it was'nt grouped. But thanks for the hint with the book. i'll get it today.
