This morning, I noticed the shark coupon code and offer in my
email and am REALLY contemplating getting it today, before it expires.

Some questions:

Looking at the comparison of the Shark FX to LT at:

http://www.punchcad.com/c-29-compare-shark.aspx

These are not part of LT, it seems:

Lofting w/Guides
Tangent Cover w/Guides
Feature Patterns
G2 Edge Blending
Rib/Lip Feature

But, can they be approximated by hand or a combination of tools in LT?

FX has:

PhotoRendering

RayTracing, Shadows, Transparency
Material, Decal Library
Environment Maps
Poster Size File Export, QT VR

and VCP 7 has:

PhotoRendering

RayTracing, Shadows, Transparency
Material, Decal Library
Environment Maps
Poster Size File Export, QT VR

Are they not in LT?

In neither FX nor LT is there any mention of external reference. I
think I explored it a bit in older versions of Shark demos. Is it
still in FX and LT but just not being advertised?

Has anyone used on a daily basis or at least often enough to tell me enough to further convince me to go for LT? I didn't leave enough time to test the betas/trials of FX and LT and since not all the differences are on a comparison chart, I hope someone can illuminate things.

The coupon expires just before midnight (assuming there's not another "oops, we're sorry" extension, hahahaha.

But, this time, I have just enough money to GET Shark LT, but was caught off guard having forgotten most of my exposure to it. But, may VCP 7 is getting long in the tooth, and I'm hoping that Shark 8 LT will still eclipse VCP 8 (Beta) which is due out in a couple months I understand.

Thanks!

Shark LT v8 now includes Photorendering.

Shark LT v8 has external references.
