I create an extrusion, group it and rename to a name, like Widget. I would like to be able to duplicate it as a component in the drawing and retain the name. The eye dropper tool does not copy this information from one to the other. I can go into Concept Explorer and rename it there or the Inspector but wondered if there is a better way to accomplish this. Thank you in advance.
Additional - If I use Translate it will copy the group name. If I use Linear Duplicate or Linear Array it will not copy group name.

Hello

You can save the items as a symbol and drag them into the drawing as this retains some properties of the item
