please, explain also for the preferences and settings folder location.

The mode Startup.dat is every available? with the v.8?

Hey Tim

In my case, those backup folders are empty
Viacad is set to save after 50 commands / 10 minutes and keep up to 20 temp files

PS I even went to the terminal but there is nothing in these folders...

rights are set to read and write for Jo (my user) , staff and everyone (according to the finder info
