I recently bought Via CAD 2D V9 from Apples Australian App Store and Apple have just taken my A$50.
My problem is that I cannot save any work. Clicking on Save or Save As... from the FIle menu does not result in the expected dialog box.
Punch CAD mentions a registration dialog opening the first time the software is opened. I have not seen any such dialog after several start ups.
Is this applicable to the Mac version? There is a serial number in the About Via CAD window.
I sent a support request to Punch CAD but have not received a reply. I notice from reading some posts on this forum that there is some concern with the telephone number format for non US numbers possibly resulting in failure of the request.
Can any one help or suggest where and how I get help. Is there some aspect I have missed?
Needless to say I am not happy with this product at the moment.

Mac App Store versions use Apple's App Store security and update system. There is no dialog box for registration.

Can you send me a screen shot of what you are seeing for File : Save As?

Im in the same boat with Mac version- just bought off of Canadian App site - can't open or save files (no pop-up menu) - Very dissapointed , spent a bit more for higher end package and this is how it starts

Thanks to Tim who appears to have got me up and running with an updated version. A very quick resolution to my problem.
