Now I am conaidering to buy viacad pro or shark lt.
What is the difference between them?

I compare Viacad Pro with Shark LT v8 ,and I found the following function does not have Shark LT v8 but Viacad Pro have it .

Push pull modeling ,Mesh
Offset Surface
Subdivision
Woodworking Joints

Photo rendering

So , I need to carefully to check each function to consider which function I want ,and need to select Viacad Pro or Shark Lt , right ?
I thought that Shark Lt is better function than Viacad Pro but it is not true ?

On the other hand,there is the Shark Lt v8 have ,and Viacad Pro does not have ?

Shark LT 9 has all the features of ViaCAD Pro 9 plus more. I think you are comparing a V9 product with a V8 product.

Something else you might want to consider is that Shark LT 9 is about to be released and will be 64 bit.

so, I need to wait until v9 release , or if I buy v8 shark lt and free upgrade it ?

if I buy shark lt v8, will it be free upgrade because v9 coming soon,
or usually how much upgrade v8 from older version.

additionally,I would like to know whether it is possible to upgrade from viacad to shark lt?
