I'm very new and following the tutorials. The first tutorial I did was the draw goblet tutorial and I couldn't get the curved to stay. As soon as I chose the straight line tool again it disappeared.

2nd tutorial is about snaps but when it wants me to change to circles (via View > User View) it's greyed out.

I'm sure this is user error but I'm very efficient in Photoshop, this just works completely different to me. I would appreciate any help.

THank you,
Brenda

hi,

that "user view" was created previously by the author of the tutorial. if you dont have it in your file, you need to open the "model" as your working file

Hi Brenda

The spline tool you can right click or double clip to finish the spline, it sounds like the spline did not finish before you selected the line tool. If you look at the top there are hints to help when you are in certain tools.

Thanks for answering. I will try the model choice. As for the spline, I've tried everything, it just doesn't seem to work when I try and draw the goblet, works just scribbling elsewhere, lol. Weird.
