Hi,

I´m trying to create a rotation-solid by applying the lathe tool to this bezier curve:

Bezier curve


and reproducibly get this result:
Rendered wrong

Even when using the other spline options.

Does anybody now whats going on?

P.S. I´m using the Mac version of ViaCAD 9.0.0 Build 1103 - Evaluation Copy

Hi Tim,

here is the ViaCAD file. Its not the original one, but the effect occurs every time I draw a profile with this specific appearance. Probably I´m doing something wrong during creation of the profile?

The facetting in 1103 is not meshing the part correctly. If you change resolution, it should correct. I'll send you links to the 1166 trial via private message.

Excellent. I've contacted Encore and reminded them to replace those old trials. Several hundred issues have been addressed between 1103 and 1166.
