Hello

I prefer beginning with a bit more layers and the layer "DImension" every time in yellow.

What is the best way for a "default template" (protected file)?

Create a file with the layers, views, pen styles that you would like at startup. Save the file and:



Rename your saved file as startup.dat and place this file in the following location:

Mac
/Applications/ViaCAD Pro 9.app/Contents/Resources/startup.dat

Win
/Program Files/Punch! Software/ViaCAD Pro 9/startup.dat

Each time the app is launched, it will read this file in first.
