I've been going through some video tutorials learning more commands.
This is the one I'm currently playing with: ViaCAD 9 Concept To 3D Print

The problem I have run into is the shortcut key for toggling back and forth between
the Subdivided model and control facets isn't working.

I have verified that the "t" is the shortcut cut in the shortcut manager.

I don't know how, and can't get back to the control facets...
I went through the manual and and found this:

When viewing the Control Mesh, right-click (Control-click) the mesh and choose Show Subdivision from the submenu.
When viewing the subdivision, choose Show Subdivision from the submenu to see the subdivision levels.

but right clicking the mesh didn't bring up either of those options?

I've recently upgraded to ViaCAD 9 Pro 64 bit with the power pack.

Thanks for the heads up Chris, some of the mesh types were not recognized. Fixed in next upload.

I noticed this too. In the "spoon" video, Tim writes "Toggle between subdivided model and control facets by hitting the "T" key."
I've tried and can NOT get this to work. Searched thru my preferences and looked at shortcuts. nothing seems to work.

Under Short Cuts/Mesh/Toggle Mesh Subdivision there was not a key assigned. So I added "y", it didn't work. So how do we "Toggle between subdivided model and control facets"?

The "T" key does not work. I can't seem to find any way to toggle between the model and facets modes. In the video, Tim is toggling away between the modes. How is this done? Do I have to press another key also?

Also when Tim does the subdivide 3 times, he gets this blue spoon with all these tiny red mesh lines. I don't get that at all. I get a blue spoon with just a few red lines, nothing like what Tim gets. The spoon does round out however.

I also noticed that when he deselects the spoon, all the lines disappear, and he gets a blue spoon. When I deselect, I have a spoon with white lines.

WHY are there all these differences? He appears to be using a Mac and ViaCAD Pro 9, just like me. But the video shows things I can't seem to replicate.

Any ideas?

hi, try the command "show points" to turn control polygon of a subdivided mesh on and off
viacad pro 10 powerpackpro, viacad pro 9 german, mac
