Shark/ViaCAD are direct modelers, the (limited) constraints (third party software) were removed for all recent Punch!CAD products with a small user demand in contradiction to the royalties to pay for every copy. Norbert

Does this mean that we are never going to get rid of the model to sheet information box, the model to sheet issues and get the roof tool back on V9?

>>I understand that vc9 is direct modeller like sketchup, or designspark mechanical ViaCAD supports the following modeling methods --Associative curve, surface, and solids. (modify a curve, the surface/solid and dependents update) --Direct face modeling (move, offset, match, remove, rotate face independent of features) --History Tree with Editable features (holes, cutouts, shells, fillet, blend) --Basic subdivision/mesh tools (more coming in v10) Tim
