This never works properly and never has, it causes a lot of extra work.

The attached screenshot shows two joined cubes with one of the cubes having a draft added before the join.
The left hand edge had the radius added using the shift key and both edges were selected even though it should be a single edge, the right hand edge had the radius added by selecting the front part of the cubes edge.

This is one cube now but Shark still sees it as two and will not chain the edges correctly, this also happens on regular parts without any draft as the second image shows.

I'm pretty sure it only chains tangent edges or edges with G1+ continuity. At least thus far in my very limited experience.

Having the ability to select edge "loops" would be an excellent edition along with the ability to select chains of tangent faces. I'm sure these are both a ton of work for development but are very handy tools.

The thing is I have seen it chain all the top edges in one go, I clicked on a certain part of one edge and it chained all top edges.
I then undid that move and clicked on another part of the edge and it would not do it, but when I clicked on another part of the edge it did it again.
I am on V8 at the moment and it has never done it, when I get back on V9 I will see if I can get it to happen again.

The first example should do it for sure as it is supposed to be one block.

Selecting a face will cause it to fillet all edges connected to that face. But the face must be selected.

I have tried to recreate it but it will not happen with this build, I think it happened with 1182, just my luck, the functionality I was looking for and saw in an earlier build was probably a bug!!!

We're using an ACIS option that chains g1 edges for blending. You can turn on/off with the blend option dialog.

What I was hoping for and what I saw in 1182 is the chain selection of the top edges only, as I said this no longer happens and when it did in 1182 it was on and off.
A good example is the cube above with the cut out, if I want a 0.5mm rad on the outer edges and a 1mm on the inner I have to select the edges individually.
With 1182 I could click on a certain part of the edge and it would radius all the outer top edges at once.

We're using the same version of ACIS , so I don't think anything changed in the code related to picking edges for blending.

Was it possible you selected the face? Selecting the face will grab all the edges associated with the face.

Defiantly not Tim, I was amazed that it did what I wanted it to and I undid the move and then tried to redo the move but it would not until I clicked on a certain part of the edge.
I went back and forward with the undo trying to find out where the position on the edge that caused it to accept the chaining of all top edges but could not find any sequence, I must have got it working about 10 times.

Like I said above, it must have been a bug in a certain build, now that I know it was not supposed to happen I am fine with it, it would be a nice feature though.
Kind og like you have the edge chain function on the mesh side of things.

Tim, I got the build wrong where I got it to work, I am sure it was 1184.
