The attached drawing shows a through hole and a counter bore hole.

They were created in a near identical fashion.

The through hole ( the hole on the bottom) has the correct shape.

the counter bore (the hole on the top) does not. The leading hole or groove on the left should be shaped like the through hole. instead is has a shape matching the bore hole end on the opposite side.

I also attached a profile pic of a pocket hole to show what I am trying to achieve. Some help please :)

I don’t think you can use the regular counter bore tool in that type of situation, put the through hole in as normal and then subtract a cylinder from the part for the counter bore.

Use a cutout for the leading hole, locate the countersink on its bottom face.
