Hello,
I'm working with a Shark FX build 1162 - the last official release I suppose - and I have a question: What is a most stable build for this software because I've noticed that newer builds (e.g. 1184) have not only many fixes but also new bugs. I'm wondering is any newer build than 1162 with the most bug fixed and more stable? I would be very grateful for your help.

P.S.
Do you have knowledge about a next official update for a Shark FX?

JB

1185 is pretty good, 1162 is a pig compared to 1185 and 1184 sucks.

My apologies, I gave you bad info.
1185 got progressively worse until it became unusable, I am back on 1182 and have got far more done than I did with 1185.
I have not had one crash on 82 yet whereas by now on 85 I would have had at least 10.

Thanks for a new info. What kind of crash you mean? I've been working with 1185 build and I'm really satisfied! Unfortunatelly in the 1182 build was a critical crush with polish signs so I cannot use it. Should I back to 1162 buil in your opinion?

With 84 and 85 there were constant crashes when undo was used but it is related to the mesh modelling side of things, the solids and surfaces seemed more stable than ever on those two builds.
I have actually gone back to 1181 now because I cannot remember which build I did the Aston Martin body with and that was the most stable build for mesh modelling, I think it was 81 (will let you know later).

I use mesh tool very rarely (one or two for a year). Most of my entire work is connected with a solid and surface modeling, so maybe this is a reason why I'm really satisfied with the 1185. Anyway, I will be grateful for your info about the most stable mesh modeling build.

P.S.
Do you have any example of your mesh modeling work? I'm asking because I wonder what can I do with the mesh modeling tools? Is it professional enough?
