Hello

You use copy and paste function from one drawing to another of selected objects. There is also paste options to select in the edit menu.

I must be missing something. I can not open 2 different files simultaneously to copy to. While I have one drawing file open it will not let me open another drawing file.

Michael

When a file is open and you try to open another file what happens?

How are you opening the files?

Are you opening files native to the program or trying to open another file type like DWG or dxf?

Regards

Jason

Hi Michael
It took me a while to work out that I could have more than one drawing open.
In the version I am using, open 2 files and the place to find them is under the top menu under "window"

Hope this helps
