Hello,
It is common for a every build: When I create any solid, name it and move horizontally or vertically everything is OK. But when I use a gripper to rotate the solid the name changes. More, the solid has two names now - previous name in a "Concept explorer" and a new name in a "Inspector" window.

Yes,

that´s also in my opinion a problem, especially in conjunction with live linking to Keyshot.
t's not nice if all the work of naming parts lost

That has started with VC 9, wasn't before the case.

It's actually worse, it's not only that: when you rotate it, it will also loose the ability to change its size in the top menu area. The only way to adjust the size is now by selecting it, click on the tab Features in the Concept Explorer and click on the solid. How is that for a non-efficient workflow? Wasn't happening in v8 either. :(

Hi Macnavi,

I've always wondered what action causes I cannot modify primitives in a top window - now I know it's rotation. Thanks! I hope Punch! will fix it in a next build!

Oh, there are more actions doing this. Create a solid, add a blend to it and then move it with the Gripper (not even rotate, just move it). After you've simply moved it, the information in the menu is gone.\

Yes, indeed, I would love to see this fixed rather sooner than later.
