Hi,

i bought Viacad 9 Pro from Avanquest and got it delivered as boxed product on CD. With this product I got a serial number, which I need to enter to activate the product.
After doing this, I can update the Viacad to the newest build via "Help -> Current version". There I can download german version, french version and english version. Only for the english version the newest build is available.
I would prefer to have the english version, because of two reason:
1. I prefer software in original-language
2. newer build

Unfortunately my serial number seems only to work for the german version.
Can this be changed? Can I get a serial number for the english version?
I do not really understand, why I should only be able to use the german version

Hi Florian

I would recommend contacting Encore Tech Support and ask if they can provide you with a serial number for the English build. If there is a particular correction in the newer build that you need access to, that might help.

FYI, the development team is scheduled to create another update for the German builds shortly.
