Net surface fails - surface u and v are in the same or opposite direction

Hi,
I am having a problem creating a simple net surface (please see the picture below).
I get this meaningless and completely unhelpful message: "Surface u and v are in the same or opposite direction".
Any suggestions?
Thanks!
Mark

I tried it on V8 and it worked fine, it may be your selection method. Hold the shift key and select both of the pink splines (M curves), then release the shift key and press it again to select the green splines (N curves). After selecting all the green splines release the shift key and the surface should appear?

Craig, This is one of the undpredictably strange ones. I recreated the splines in the same configutation and it worked all of a sudden. I had been doing the command correctly all along. But somehow the first set of splines would not work. Some kind of a weird glitch. Well. I am not perfect either : ) Thanks for your reply.

I sent them an email once stating that Shark did not need a developer it needed a priest and they should tell their customers to make sure the program is shut down before they go to sleep, just in case the poltergeist escapes.
