User guide says that subD mesh bilateral symmetry is by workplane, but I've only achieved it when the mesh is at origin with global WP. Win 8 FX here, does everyone have the same experience or is there a trick for other cases?

Hi Murray
I just checked here, it seems to be working correctly.

Symmetry is about the work plane x-axis.

Hmm. OK, that appears to be so, but then doing any z-transformation breaks the symmetry for me. How 'bout you?

That seems ok here as well.

FYI, SHIFT C is a hot key that rotates the work plane x-axis about the z-axis.
