VIACAD PRO is so important to my work that I would not to upgrade MacOS, if not ready.

Are there still issues that must be resolved before the green light to upgrade?

Thanks

Encore QA is testing a build of ViaCAD 9 now as a service pack update. It does have a correction for Window tab issue in Sierra that was appearing in preview builds.

I just sent and email to Encore Tech support to see if they have had any reports.

FYI, so far no issues have been reported to Tech Support regarding Sierra.

I recently upgraded to MacOS Sierra and ViaCAD Pro (build 1184) has stopped working. I can start the program but can not open an existing drawing or start a new one, it just sits there until I force quit.

Has anybody else experienced this problem and do you have a solution?

FOLLOW-UP: I just learned a work-around. If I open ViaCAD and THEN try to open a file (or create a new file) it hangs at "updating curve display list" and I have to force quit.

BUT if I double click on a .vcp file to start ViaCAD it will open the file and I can then open and close other files. I haven't done extensive testing on that but it worked several times.

Hello Oscar

I would recommend contacting Encore tech support. I'll forward your post over to them as well and see if they have heard of this before.
