Still waiting? In the between i have looked and used "freecad" it is a nice working tools. Yes i am disappointed over all this beta stuff (never got a real bug free production build), and still having a old payed v9 with a lot of bug!

Same here, very disappointed. Tim said that the updates are ready, why we don't see them. I find it shocking that there is going to be a paid v10, which is actually a better working version of v9. If the world was depending on ViaCad, the developers would never get away with this. Only their loyal users will accept this, while grinding their teeth. In my opinion, every user that paid for v9 should get v10 for free. In the mean time, I've been using v8 and running only the betas. I'm staying away from that crappy v9, which is like an alpha version.

I agree that the politics of the company disappoints everyone, especially old, loyal customers. If I understood correctly the update for all v9 is ready but encore is waiting with releasing it. I'm not sure if Tim has something to do with this. Magicart

Now there are a V10 for sale, 250$ and still no working v9. If i made a upgrade V9->V10 it cost 150$. I don't like this, first i pay 250$ in 2014, for my beta V9, and now 2 years later V9 is still not working, but if i pay 150$ i can get a V10. What is all this about?

Still no V9 update? "Latest is The current build is 1184." As i can see V10 is still in beta too, why pay for an update then? Any timeline for a working public release V9? and V10?

An update with V9 would be nice.. Noticed when I had V10 Beta that the Arch tools actually worked.. Stupid I would have to buy a program again to get one that actually works

-I think we must see it differently, development costs and therefore they must at some point stop at one version and switch to another (and we must too). I have many paid licenses, some types are only for one year, then it must be renewed. -What I find problematic is the very long QA time they have. Every time there be a new official version, beta testers are a lot of build in front. That way, we always feel that we are using some buggy software. -Make beta public immediately, without expiry!
