I've developed a couple brute forces methods for doing takeoff geometry from image files. After I've done part of the work it would be nice to hide the image file to look over the work without it cluttering up the work plane. I don't seem to be able to do that in VC9Pro. I am pretty sure I could in previous version of VCPro. I can cut and paste, but if I do any other work or even move the cursor it appears (as does other geometry) in a different location. If I could hide/show the image file that would not be an issue. I could do any amount of work and not worry about losing the image or having it appear in the wrong location.

I was just tracing an image file today. What I usually do is 'HIDE ALL', and then 'SHOW CURVES' or whatever you work with. Working with images still could use some improvement. Larry

you can try to assign the image to a second layer, then hide that layer.

In another post somebody told me where to find the show/hide tool flyout. With that I can easily swipe right to left to select the image, and then click hide on the tool flyout. That is so much easier, and its the way I used to do it. I seem to recall in older versions the there was a Show/Hide button to bring up that flyout on the toolbar. Anyway, I just leave the flyout on screen and I am good to go.
