Newly installed Shark LT. I printed/saved to PDF successfully last week, but now when I print to PDF, the program crashes. Also, when I try to print a hard copy, Windows goes through the motions, but nothing prints.

So please elaborate on what you outlined.

1. New install - this means you just got the program and installed it? Or was it reinstalled , or did the computer change?

2. Are you on mac or pc and what version of os are you using.

3. What program are you using to generate the print to pdf or save to pdf?

4. Were there any changes since last week when it printed fine till recent when it crashes generating the pdf.

5. Is this same behavior with all files, even if you create a simple test file?

6 Can you post a sample file that has this behavior?

Regards

Jason

We had originally downloaded the trial version on a PC (Laptop)(Windows 7). Everything was working fine (including able to print, and print to PDF). After a few days using the trial version, we purchased the Shark LT V9 Download and backup DVD online. We downloaded the software from the website and everything seemed to function properly. Then when I went to print to PDF(Adobe Acrobat XI version 11.0.18), the program crashed and no PDF was created.

We are also not able to print a drawing (modified .sfx file or newly created .slt file) to a printer (which I was able to with the trial version). It looks like it is sending the file to the printer, but nothing prints. The program doesn't crash when trying to print to a laser printer.

Nothing has changed on the computer other than downloading the purchased version of Shark LT.

All files that we open in Shark LT behave in the same manner, both newly created and modified .sfx files . We are able to take an .sfx file and create a PDF from another seat/install we have, SharkFX9.

Thanks for any feedback.

Hi mmenkeMTD,
Try to download and install the last beta build 1217 from the directory http://www.punchcadlabs.com/page7/page7.php (name and e-mail requred). I also use acrobat to print my sheets and everything seems to be OK!
