Hi there, I need to build simple 3D buildings for placement into X-Plane 11 Flight Simulator. I thought about using primitives or use the architectural tools. Need to export with maybe .obj or SAT file into AC3D. AC3D needs to generate a X-Plane Obj8 file. I think the primitives would have a smaller file size. I have attached a picture of the building I need to build. Also need to build the mound that the building is on.

You can draw the building walls and then use the 3d wall tool and roof tool to make buildings.

Then export as dxf, obj, vrml.

I attached files you can try.

Jason

Thanks, I thought I had replied earlier, I know I had downloaded your files about a day later, anyway I haven't used the roof tool, I sure have mentioned that the roof in the picture is "flat on top", actually it's sunk down in order to hide the A/C unit , I think. Can the roof tool make a roof that is pyramid shape and the top portion is cut off.
