Hi @ all

I want to try out the funktion of MateFace.
Generally I have understood but there is an option window and I can't see any reaction of it.
The option means an Offset but I have everytime the same result.

Has anyone experiences with it?

Regards
Horst

The Offset is the distance between the two faces you are mating.
Like maybe the faces of two bearings, and leaving a distance for a spacer, or a shaft.
I think the tools are mainly for assembly of multiple parts.

i cannot see an option window, but you can use the option key to avoid associativity of the mated objects

Thanks for the answers!

@ Rokoko
I'm using Windows 7 Prof and the Option-Key (Mac?) is Control / Stgr but it has no effects.

Please have a look to the pictures, the starting situation and the result. With an given Offset of 30 mm I reach the same if I let it to zero.

That may be have a relation to a curios thing when I start the funktion.
Taging ON the MateFace-Symbol, also the symbol of his neighbor the Align-Function is taged ON. I can't set it to deactive without deactivation of the MateFace. Only tag ON the Align-Symbol is possible.
When using the function, with the first mouse-cklick to the first solid face, the Align-symbol is deselected.

Horst

PS: when a click to the MateFace-symbol, the mouse-flash becomes the symbol of the Align-function !

FYI, this was recently corrected and will be in the next upload.
