Afternoon all, Trying to set an image (.jpg, .bmp etc.) as my background but no matter what file format I use, no matter what file size it is, nothing happens? Anyone had any joy with this? Thanks

Just curious if I'm missing a useful feature. What advantage does using an image as a Background have over Importing an image? Using an image as a Background works in Ver7, but was not offered as an option in Ver.5 and previous versions, as far as I know. Please offer an example of using an image as a Background. Thanks, Larry

I think sometimes getting a good background colour/image helps a lot. I do a lot of point work, and the graphics can get a little choppy, especially because the points are small. So sometimes being able to swap and change helps bring features clearer. The import jpg option is more for working on the jpeg no? Im talking about having a file, new, and then it opens up with whatever you have chosen
