When I make any cone primitive and after I enter a new Z position, the cone base radius changes (but not cone height) proportionally to the Z position. When I change Z position of a cylinder also for example, the size changes proportionally but the proportions stay the same. This is all unexpected behaviour to me. Is it a bug or how can I translate a primitive in Z axis parametrically without changing size or proportions?

You are changing the value of "Z", use the value of "Height".

When I change the Z-Value, the cone changes its position too, but only up to the new Z-Value without changing its dimensions.

I actually just want to set the position without changing the height or the size in any direction, but the problem is it does on my end. So I want it to work exactly how you are describing it does, so it is good to know that the program does have a bug on my system. I have V10 build 1341 installed, but I guess it could also be an incompatibility with my Windows 10 Home environment.

I also have running V10 / 1341, but on a Win 7 Prof.

Diameter and Height determine the dimensions of the cone,
started on Origin (X/Y/Z = 0) the movement of the centerpoint of the cone has reactions as expected.
