Model Tree on ViaCAD 2D/3D?

Hello all. I use ViaCAD as the primary program to do my CAD work. I currently have v10.0.0 build 1354, so I should be all up to date (as of now). One of the things I've noticed over time from working with this particular program is that I have never seen a model tree feature for this particular software, which is a bummer, because model trees can be especially useful when dealing with 3D part assemblies, which is primarily the kind of work I deal with. I have a feeling that I already know the answer, but is there a way to access the model tree utility from the 2D/3D version of ViaCAD? I am aware that the pro version includes a model tree, but wanted to make sure the 2D/3D version did not have the feature before considering upgrade. Anyone have a definitive answer for me?

Camdyn what do you mean by Model Tree Feature? Better Yet, I should ask, what software have you used previously?

You get a history if you select the part and go to entities in the concept explorer, is that what you are looking for?

That is exactly what I was looking for! I have to select the entire assembly in order to see every individual branch of the tree for the whole model, but that is a minor inconvenience. My primary interest in this feature was to be able to rename parts in an assembly, which it looks like I can do. Thank you very much, UGMENTALCASE. That helped a lot. NeuTechFLa, to answer your question, I am familiar with Autodesk Inventor, as the school I am currently enrolled at uses it, but the model tree is entirely different and unique on that program. Essentially, I was just seeking an organized list of individual components in an assembly; namely for a .stp file from another CAD software, so I could edit them. Thanks again!
