Hi,
Today I modeled degergent bottle. It was an excellent object to experience the Shark’s Surface Tools. As usual, I met a lot of inconvenience. Perhaps the plan modeling workflow was not correct. But I did not find another way to do this shape. Here is what I wanted to do.

I created the basic form of the object and cut out a hole that must be covered with a concave surface.
To begin with, I experienced a
Tagent Cover Surface tool. I was immediately punished for this idea. It was not the right way. Probably the best way is
Guide Loft Surface .

I created the guides, but I ran into the
first problem . I could not connect the curves to the edges of the surface. What is wrong? In any case, it did not work for me.

Then I used
Explode Curve tool. I got two
Control Point Splines . It was
second problem . The guides were «glued» to the control points, but not to the spline. Converting to
Interpolate Spline would disrupt the shape of the object. Finally I got the cover. But it was not the smooth surface that I expected to see. Of course, blending off edges can be forgotten. It will not work with this geometry.

I previewed a lot of videos about modeling of objects like this bottle. Why can I not achieve the desired shape? What am I doing wrong?
By the way, I already finished this bottle. Simply interesting is the opinion of the more experienced.
SFX file is too big- But can be downloaded here:

Maybe I would have done this different like doing a negative on the indentation or do a project curve onto surface to divide it, then make handle hole and put blends on every edge.

Yes, probably my plan is not optimal. I considered various options. But I still have to somehow connect all the parts.
Besides, I did not understand you very well. :)

I added the base model. Both models are here:

No. A large number of control points is always a source of problems.

maybe move the second point from the line at the front towards the left. It adjusts better.

Of course it will be better. But it will be a different shape. Usually I try to do that I need. Not what Shark offers me. :)
