Is this the reason why Solid Works don't use the ACIS-Kernel? Is there a way to make this faster? An other problem is that shark have a problem with big data. Better to use it just for one single model which is not to complex. Sure my Computer is also not the fastest one, but the non responding issue should be fixed.

Creating this small perforated Plate cause 10 min non responding, it seems this is caused by a Bug. It is the same with the Extruding Tool, with Cover Surface and with Push/Pull (Push/Pull works after the time not correctly). Just Thicken Solid works faster when a Cover surface created before.

I don't think this is a bug. The problem here is the huge amount of polygons (2500!) you are trying to extrude. Maybe it helps, if you extrude just a small portion of the polygons at once.
I doubt any other CAD would be much quicker.

The ACIS CAD-Systems maybe are not quicker. But why do shark for this Operation only use one CPU-Core? And the Non Responding is not necessary. I tested some other Systems, they do responding but they use also only one CPU-Core and some need very much more time than Shark.

It is my understanding that SolidWorks uses three kernels. Parasolids (main), ACIS, and CGM. CGM is the CATIA kernel.

It can be done faster. A 50 x 50 pattern of square holes took a couple of minutes to process as a pattern.

Yes, it seems the solid tools are very much faster than any converting of Lines in Surfaces or solids.

I should buy Shark CAD Pro with Power Pack. If Version 11 released i make this.
