So I've done a couple of views, and have my text set at 3.5mm. I do a view, bring it in at 2.0 scale. Now stick a dimension on there. Suddenly my text and all dimensions are 1.75? Yes once I've put the dimension in I can check the ignore scale box, but I don't want to slam a drawing with dimensions, then have to go check the box for them all, then go back and move them all. How can this be changed please? cheers

Are you rescaling a view that has dimensions already in it? Are these all separate draw views?
Regards
Jason

Hi,
No just create a new view, stick a dim on it check the size. Then delete the dim, and scale up the view, do the same again, and the font size cuts in half. video attached

Are you using a custom dimension standard or one of the existing?
If you create a standard you can have the ignore scale unchecked.

Just standard straight out the box. Haven't changed any of that lot. I could make up a new standard, but why does it change?

I could not open you video but I suspect it's trying to apply scaling. Regards Jason.

Yeah, basically I've done a 1.0 scale view. Dimension size is set to 3.5mm I stick a dim on, check the text size. Sure enough if 3.5mm Delete all that, 2.0 scale view on the page. Same thing again, dimension on, and it changes to 1.75mm called it 'user' as well. Cheers

"Scale values with text size" have no effect for me in 1369, it scale the values when change the text size anyway, also when it disabled. I made my custom Dim Standards last year and in my main standard was it and is it always unchecked. "Scale values with text size" have nothing to do with the scale of draw views and print size. @UGMENTALCASE: I guess you want printing your drawing. No matter what virtual size your dimension have, the print size is important, and this will be the same like with scale 1. print it out and take a ruler and make a measure of your printed drawing.
