Strange Behaviour when connecting curves

Hi,
if making a polygon exclusive with straight lines, i get sharp angles after joining all curves. Exchanging one single line with a spline, creates weird radii instead of the sharp edges from before. These radii can be manipulated by using the tolerance variable, but it cant be set to off.
How can i get rid of this?
Best regards
Stefan

You need to break the polygon if it is a smart polygon. If converted to line or done with lines instead of smart polygon, then you can use a fillet to round the corners. Converting the polygonal to a spline gives that result as it uses an algorithm to blend the lines of the polygonal. It is just an approximation that it does. Two lines don't define a spline so it kinks it at the corner to make one continuous spline.
