Greetings!
On ViaCad 2D/3D v10.0.0. I have a design that has an arc that we need to tweak.
We are not able to figure out how to adjust the inside diameter of the arc in 3D mode.
Is it possible to do this in 3D mode or what is the best way to do this?
I tried attaching the file so i hope you are able to see the attachment.
Also, we are also having trouble removing a simple hole feature in 3D mode. I assume we can easily delete a simple hole in 3D mode or are we missing something.

Your file seems to be a simple ACIS solid, features don't show
up in Concept Explorer.
You can Thicken Solid + or -.
Looks simple enough to just start over.

you can use the offset face command to what ever value you want to offset the wall. say .1

Hi SP
One way to remove the hole is to use the remove face tool.

Hmmm. You are right to ask. I'm not sure, I'm using Viacad 10 pro.

Thank you everyone! I'm newbie and work part time on this project. I couldn't find an easy way to modify the inner arc without redrawing whole thing in 2D mode. It looked like it had to be done in 3D mode. I couldn't see a diameter number that could be changed when I selected the arc. It does not show in concept explorer. Again, thank you!

No you won't if it's a dumb solid. Quickest way I think is, right click it 'change object type' pick curves. Delete all the crap leaving the flat profile, put a new arc in, extrude the shape back to the original length. Takes around 5 minutes Cheers

I think that 2D/3D does have move face tool, with it the inner face of the bracket can be moved outside the bounds of the part, filling the cylindrical section. Extrude a circle the diameter you want through the clamp centres and subtract it from the part. The circle diameter becomes the inner diameter's variable parameter. Move face will handle the height of the bracket's flats too, although not together.
