Changing a diameter seems straight forward with the hole wizard-like feature, but trying to change the dimensions of linear features/ polygons has me stumped. Any tips would be appreciated! If not you can redraw the shape, go to the concept explorer and select the polygon shape right click and select replace curve. Then select new curves. This should now use the new curves to update the bit you're trying to mod.

Select the faces you want to move by dragging a window across them. Then in the inspector turn on the gripper on the gripper menu. Grab the direction arrow on your screen a drag the direction you want the faces to move. After dragging the faces you can type a precise measurement at the top numerical boxes. Or...Use the move faces tool.
