Hi all. Anyone had any experience with exporting to 3d pdf? I've done a few and the measurements seem to be miles off. I've checked all the settings inside the pdf software and it's far smaller than it should be

Attached is the pdf. I've tested it in acrobat reader as well and it's the same. The box section piece is 890mm long
The size shown should be 270mm. So it looks like it's the imperial to metric conversion thing again! 10.630 * 25.4 = 270!

This is not a bug.
How to measure 3D objects in PDF
Setup
Edit => Preferences => Measuring (3D) => Uncheck "Use Scale and Units from the Model (when present)"
Open pdf. (I created 5" x 3" x 1" object in Shark v12)
Measure a dimension and it will be displayed: <number> model units(s) (default)
To measure in the dimension of your choice:
Select the 3D measurement tool
Right click the object, open "Define Model Units"
In the Change Scale Ratio dialog
1. To measure units in inches set model unit(s) = 1 and select "in" in the dimensions drop down.
2. To measure units in mm set model unit(s) = 25.4 and select "mm" in the dimensions drop down.
or any scale of your choosing.

That's nice providing the 3d pdf software has that option though? You'd expect it to take the model units as step export (and others) does then there wouldn't be an issue?
