Very often I hit a point where I am using tools and apply something to entity after entity and then ViaCad stops responding. I've walked away and left it sit for over and hour rather than lose unsaved work, but nope. It just keeps on not responding.
Is there anyway to force it to abort the current operations other than using Windows to force the software to shut down and just starting over from the last save?
V12 Build 1582, but it has always happened on every version I have used.

Hello Bob,
I get in this situation too.
Quite sure it has to do with endless loops in object links treatment.
Every time I get a repeatable one I send it to Tim and get a fix in a couple of days.
The major problem is when it happens randomly...
This is why I always fraction my work in different layers with isolated levels of history...
- One layer for geometry
- one layer for basic objects created with geometry (lathe, extrude, etc...
- one layer for complex object created with the basic ones (copied and pasted to cut the links) + booleans + blends + shells + ...
This way, I can always go back on each level to make modifications without crashing the history
