When I render to file, whether it be .tff or .jpg I noticed some colors will have a mettalic reflective sheen on them. I usually then select a slightly different shade and that solves the problem but it leaves me wondering why ViaCAD does this? I use "web safe colors" for my rendering and I wonder if it has something to do with numeric vs. alpha-numeric or alpha coded colors? Its not a big deal but I'm curious as to why it does it. I would like the ability to have completely matt colors for certain renderings such as this tire. On another note, I took a screen shot of this tire on my 5K Mac and that's not a bad option either to render other than you have to crop out the framework of the ViaCAD program.
