Please fix the mesh symmetry function - Do the developers even test these functions?

This bug is so bad I have no idea how you can advertise this feature. These features work like a dream in Blender. I have tried it so many different times and different ways in ViaCAD. It absolutely does not work. I can model one side then mirror it. But that symmetry function would be nice.

I rewrote the symmetry function Sunday and it will be in the next 14 beta for testing.
