Project Curve Surface - Passes through EVERYTHING!

Hello, I want to put text on my project, and for the most part its working.
BUT!!! The text gets projected on EVERY WALL through the project making it really difficult
to work the text after it's been projected.
I'm wanting to emboss on all four sides, but with everything projecting through,
makes it next to impossible.
How can I project the text and then emboss it on all four sides without the interference
of the opposite's side projection?
Thanks!

See if I can attach my file...
This will be 3d printed. (It's for a remote Emerge Stop Button for the CNC machine)

the imprint feature goes through all the walls. You will have to delete the ones you don't want with the remove face feature in solids. Alternatively, you should be using the wrap text feature. I believe it is in viacad. I use the pro. The wrap feature should be easier.

Thanks, I am still on v10pro with PP, and not really planning on upgrading.
My work around for now is to cut the object into 1/4s diagonally.
Do the text work I want to do, the fuse them back up.
Not optimal, but works.
Thanks.

Move your text so that it is inside your object then project it out to the surface.

Thanks! I hate it when the solution is so easy and my head just can't see it.

Awesome tip "mitchb" I was trying to figure this out awhile back as well. Going to go try it. Thanks for that tip.
