Hi All, I'm using TurboCad Mac v14 and have been a user since something like v4. From what I understand, it's just a re-branded version of ViaCAD. I have seen the Variables/Equations dialog in a few versions, but I've never been able to get it to show anything other than empty fields. Are there any documents, notes, or even forum posts on what it is supposed to do or how to use it? -Eric

I have run into the same problem, seems if you change (play with) the resolution of your screen it does display the variable/constants, sometime!
The above was/is true for a MBPro.

This was fixed in the v14 1620 build. The controls were not updating the screen for new macOS versions. Tim

Thanks Frednet & Tim. I see I have build 1613, I probably have to wait for TurboCad to bless and release. If I resize the dialog, I can see what I've entered. The manual only has about two paragraphs on the feature. Is there any other tutorial or notes on how to make use of it? As the manual states - when I add a constraint, it shows up in the Variables/Equations dialog. I cannot edit the value there, and when I change the drawing, the dialog is not updated. When do the equations get recalculated and linked back to the sketch? -Eric

>> I cannot edit the value there,
Yes, you can edit and apply in the dialog.
>>When do the equations get recalculated and linked back to the sketch?
When you hit apply.
I enabled you access to the beta forum and WIP builds.

Dimension and Constraints Dimension and constraint tools are now available to manage the geometric relationships between 2D shapes. These relationships are used to remember design intent of 2D sketches, which typically drive 3D solids. Modifying any object within a system of constraints will update all other dependent objects accordingly.
Highlights of the Dimension and Constraint tools are implementation:
—Thirteen Geometric Constraints
—Dimension Constraints
—Variable and Equations
—Constraint Animation
—Auto Constrain
—Animate Dimension and Constraints
