Yes, I'd second this. Perhaps Nick would oblige?

Hi Tom,

An example of a linear pattern of holes in a plate (holes across a plate in XY)

Is this type of info any good, or are vids better (I dont play around making vids yet)

Pic01= Settings
Pic02= result

Thanks Steve, but I think Antoine was referring to circular patterns?

I know that in Solidworks, you start with a construction line, and use that as a reference. I could never replicate this in Shark. It all seemed more convoluted. One thing your tutorial did remind me of though, Steve, was that SW's uses sliders to input data- which is a lot easier- and works in real time :D

Tim, fancy a bit of realtime in Shark v6? :cool:

Hi Tom,

Yes I know :D. I was asking if info in that format was any good. The functions are simple and was going to make a post for each option, but will leave it for Tim to make Vid.

Attached is a pick of spherical pattern.

That's odd. I can't seem to see the pattern tool in this palette :confused:

see pic. The top tool bar is Mine (Shark LT), below is Antoine's (Shark FX)

which brings me to another.....bug?......? (see next post)

Using the Polar duplicate tool The only one I could find) for a circular pattern, should this repeat the feature, or just the profile? :confused:

(original countersink feature also gone. :eek:)

Again see pics (and sorry to Antoine, for the OT- but it's nice to keep this one together?- Just tell me if you think not!)
