pdf2cad by imsi translates to a nice dxf to import into viacad. The import or open pdf in vcp14 is a welcome addition. Sadly it us slow and makes a clunky file compared to the same pdf using pdf2cad. I do not know how hard it would be for viacad to go down the hall and use their sister software's code that is just better at this.
The extrude pipe feature is great. The rectangle tube function is great. If we could get the rectangle to be the same as real steel tubes would be nice. And beam shapes would be a little to much to ask while I lust current wish list.

We license pdf2cad from another company as an application, not a API or SDK.

Do you mean like the round diagonal polygon?

Yes, just like that but in the extrude pipe menu. The one where we enter od/id and pipe is generated on center line.

Hi Tim,
I had very poor results in importing pdf (2D drawings) in shark.
Now I always use Illustrator to import pdf and then export to dxf.
Importing dxf into SFX works pretty well.
