Could we have multiple viewports- ideally all concurrently active so that focus was given to a view automatically (as in say Microstation)

YES, please! Oh how many times each single-view 3D app I have owned or tried has forced me to do increible contortions for the simplest things.

I agree too. While the LogiCursor goes a long way to eliminating a 4 view workspace, many times I have wished and had a need for that.

I understand why Concepts has given the user a different experience with a single viewport, but I'm with the others here.

I'd like a standard 4 view window, with the option to work in single port view should the user desire.

I'm enjoying modeling based on size and proportion. Being able to create curves and primitives by lining them up and comparing their relative sizes in the different view windows is the best way for me.

I really miss it in the Punch CAD products.

Try using the A S and D keys to flip orthogonal view, and the snap to view plane to constrain things when you are drawing.

I would also advise setting a keyboard shortcut for snap to plane so that you can turn it on and off rapidly.
