This is really a pain :
One of my working place have a large screen to connect my MacBook Pro.

1- Every time I get there I have to resize the Shark windows, remove the collapsible options for the palettes, move the palettes...OK

2- But when I'm back on my laptop I cannot resize the main window: the resize tab is far out of the screen...

My old workaround that I used 10 years ago (change screen resolution down and up in the system pref) doesn't work any more.

Even create new file is generating a huge window...

I don't have other solution than to go back to a large screen...

I have pretty much the same problem. If you save the file on the big screen and exit Shark, then come back to Shark with only the laptop screen on, the Shark window will be non-existant since the big monitor is off. Turning on the big monitor is the only way I've found to get the Shark window back.

The only solution to this problem I've found is to move everything back to the laptop screen, hit save again and then exist shark.

Is there no system shortcut to raise/lower/resize, etc?

When I had such probs, I sometimes, iirc, found relief in having two virtual screens since I use VirtualBox . But, for many months now, having no second display, I had to revert to one screen on my laptop display. But, before I had to pack away my 2nd LCD, i would often switch between two virtual displays thanks to VBox, so I could run more than one instance of VCP or open other apps, and pretend I had multiple Linux/KDE desktops.

Opening the file on another computer is fine (whatever screen).

The problem is opening the file on the same computer, with a smaller screen...
