Okay this is weird. I open up ViaCad today and somehow my mouse scroll wheel function has changed when pressing it. It used to be dynamic rotate. Now its a zoom +. How do I change it back? It used to get changed to the big fat arrow every now and again (dynamic zoom), and I would hit the control key and it would change back to dynamic rotate. Now I hit the control key and it changes it to no function. I tried reading the user manual but no luck.

I haven't changed anything. That's what is so strange about this. And thanks for the tips, but I tried them. Nothing works. Of all the short-cuts I use, my dynamic rotate scroll wheel is #1. I use it more than anything else.

Hi What version are you running? You can try holding ctrl+shift and left click mouse to drag a box and then release --> that would change it back to dynamic zoom when this happened. Regards Jason

Hi Jason, I am running 968. And thanks for the tip. But it didnt help. I posted earlier that I didn't change anything. Well, I didn't change anything in ViaCad. I did however reset my mouse settings to default, and I think that is what changed. Unfortunately I cannot get my mouse back to where it was. I got close by using assigning the scroll wheel button to the numeral 1, then assigned a 1 to dynamic zoom in ViaCad, but it's not the same. Before it would go to dynamic zoom when pressed, then go back to the selector arrow when I let go of it. Now I can get it to go to dynamic zoom when I press it, but I have to physically go back and click on the selector arrow to get back. It's a pain, but it's better. The strange thing is that I never set the mouse to do it before. In fact when I opened up my mouse file, it was the first time I had ever opened it. I didn't even know it was there. Now if I could assign something to the 'depress' of the scroll wheel I think I could fix it...
