This is BS. I haven't updated anything and out of the blue I get this stupid fingerprint mismatch. You mean to tell me that if it decides something changed on my computer or I decide to upgrade the operating system that the software I just paid $250 for stops working and I have to crawl back to support each time to fix it????
We'll it's Saturday morning and I guess my ViaCad 9 Pro is down for the count. Would have been nice to know before I spent the money on this software.
Guess I'm back to my laptop and DesignSpark. WHICH IS FREE AND STILL WORKING THIS WEEKEND.
Sorry but I'm pissed.

If you can private email me your invoice or splash of the fingerprint, I'll send you the build development released to Encore. FWIW, I'm also forwarding your comments over to the guys at Encore. Tim

I have also the Error 209 Problem on my Mac Book Pro 15 with a thunderbolt Display. when i disconnect the Display Viacad9 is working ok. On my older Macbook Pro 17' there is noway to get the Viacad working. Strange isn't it

Hi there, i´m using ViaCAD Pro9 with Yosemite 10.10.3. After my last OS X Update i have a problem. It´s fingerprint mismatch error: 209. Ok i know i need a new activation code, but how do i get one. i already tried to contact tech support twice, but did´t get any reply. Even it´s a problem to leave my phone number at the support formular, because i´m from germany, and our phone numbers have more than 3 digits... Looking forward to any positive response. Martin

i also had the problem with phone number digits. i filled out the required digits regardless of being a valid number. it worked.

If for for some reason you can't contact Encore tech support, private email me with your splash screen and I'll send you links to download a build that does not have this issue.

Is there any way to expedite this process? I have been waiting for two days with no response. True, I got a message that it may take up to four days, but I find a FOUR DAY wait wholly unacceptable. This is supposed to be professional software. How could disabling my software for days at a time simply because I got a new modem/router be acceptable?
