I got so excited reading this post. So I went through the steps to see if I could test ViaCad v14 build 1672 wip. I think I was really close to getting it running. But I decided to call the sales dept. to get a trial license number. So I would not be messing with my working version of Viacad V12 pro 1582. 1st off no one answers the phone. So then I communicate with an email. The reply I got back mentioned they don't have version 1672. they have 1624. The email that I got from Tim says 1672 wip for windows Viacad v14. No where on that page is a beta version 1624 listed. What an absolute run around. I personally think that the sales dept. does not help very much.

Update....I think I jumped the gun a little. Looks like I might be able to test this newer version. I just got a really nice message from sales. Every time I use ViaCAD it just amazes me so much. The detail in the images and the colors and the functionality is so amazing. So I apologize for any frustration in my message.

@specktech
AFAIK beta WIP build is 1627, which is what I downloaded from Tim's linked server, and I was shocked to see 1672 up so quickly aka a couple of days when I read your post ;)
If you have access to the Beta forum, that was at build version 1624.

Just got ViaCAD V14 build 1625 trial loaded. I immediately went to the paraboloid tool. That tool is awesome. Next I started testing the new scale feature on the gripper. That feature is really nice. Then I went to the mesh symmetry tool. It works!!! so stoked out. Overall those few items I mentioned really made me smile. Going to test it hard for this trial period. But looks really good. Thanks ViaCAD, Punch, and Tim. And Todd in the sales dept.

Dang I feel like an idiot. Have no idea how I got those numbers flipped around. Between 1627 and 1672. Must have been seeing double vision or something. Got 1625 trial running and it is awesome. Just call me ding dong.
