How do I combine objects (lines, curves etc.) into one object, so that the drawn image remains one piece when dragged in position to be added to another drawn piece, to eventually create the complete part?

(I am trying to create a part for my car's dashboard.)

Like when drawing in photoshop you can group individual layers into one group.

Hi
Try this
Select objects.
Click on Edit in the top menu.
Select group.

Or select objects to group
Right click and there may be a selection, create group from selected entities.
The right click one is variable.
Sometimes it is there sometimes its not.

If you want to use group all the time you can create a shortcut under the top menu, File, Shortcuts.

Hope this helps.
