I like to use the Deep Select tool to select and change the color of certain surfaces on solids.
When I first upgraded to SharkCAD Pro v14 any models that I had done that too lost the alternate color. I raised that issue and Build 1621 fixed the problem. I just updated to Build 1645 and it's back to where it started. I can use the Deep Select tool to select one of the surfaces that I had changed color and the object pen palette shows the color that is should be, but it doesn't display that way on the screen. I have also found that if you render the image that the color shows up like it should.
Somebody found and fixed the issue once but it apparently got lost.

Is there a way that I can go back to Build 1621?

Is anyone able to change surface colors on a solid using the deep select tool with Build 1645?

It does not work for me either (tested on MacOS Sonoma 14.2.1). Only with the PBR rendering
kind regards

It's a little frustrating as I raised this issue before and it got fixed in build 1621 but now it's broken again. I use that function often.

Confirmed bug, looking into a fix for the the next patch. Thank for the heads up.

Thanks again for the heads up, this is now fixed in the 1647 builds. I should have a WIP ready for interested parties shortly.

New WIP build downloads will usually be released for download here:
https://masterviacad.com/beta/beta.php
I just checked and it is still not available. My best guess is that Tim will post in this thread when it is available
@Tim please add release notes to help us reporting bugs...
kind regards
Danny

I will be sure to note in the forum when it is ready.

I'm sending a 1647 build to one user today to check some things and then will expand.

Update:
We have made a couple of passes and now on 1649.

In addition to progress related to Deep Select, fixing other issues users reported to customer support.

Getting closer but need the weekend to fix and confirm addition items are fixed and ready for a WIP.
